IT guy vs dumb employees

Perhaps only an IT person could understand just how funny and true this could actually be. My favourite part is the desktop bit towards the end.

Being a Helper

A friend of mine recently wrote "Discipleship and mission will cost deeply - we need to ensure that what we are committing ourselves to is the cost that is God's call for us at this time". I feel there is much wisdom here, how true this concept is in all of life. There is always a need around us but is it up to us in this time and place to offer a level of help in the now and is that a small or big level. We can't be all things to all people at all times. Sometimes unfortunately you just need to keep walking on by and hope "it's someone else's day". I've seen too many people in my life live trying to be the good samaritan to everyone, which in the end is life denying to them selves. I choose to help where I can but don't want to do it out of guilt or obligation but rather because it's the right thing to do and it's "my time" to do it. I guess the hard part is knowing "is this my time" and confusing my higher thinking with pure laziness!
