Am I a harp that the hand of the mighty may touch me, or a flute that his breath may pass through me?

"Am I a harp that the hand of the mighty may touch me,
or a flute that his breath may pass through me?"

Just Another Quirky Day That Made Me Laugh

Today I laughed when the drunk man walked through the tram saying "tickets please".

It also tickled my fancy immensely when the rich man got out of his fancy car (after parking it) and was promptly asked by a funny smart ass "excuse me sir, could I borrow your car?".

And then to top it off, a man walked up to me and said "excuse me, could I ask you for a favour?". I said "no sorry, I'm running late". (Thinking he wanted money). To which he yelled out as I walked away "but I only wanted a cuddle!".

The world can be so funny, for this I'm grateful.

How The Past Can Inspire Creative Thinking

Today I came across this wonderful table and chairs outside a cafe. An old stereo system. How wonderful to live in a world that contains such creativity.

B.G - Before Google. Will technology become such a world changing event, that this period of time becomes a time reference to history; akin to a person changing period / event that produced B.C (B.C.E) / A.D?

B.G. (Before Google) “The Era in which humans lived before the search engine; Google”(1).

Today I came across the above abbreviation. I’d never heard of B.G before, but of course I know what it means.

Upon reflecting, it will be interesting if in a hundred or even a thousand years time; if B.G. becomes a time reference, to the general but profound impact that computer based technology, including Smartphone’s, the internet, and social network working have had on the world.

Will technology become such a world changing event, that this period of time becomes a time reference to history; akin to a person changing period / event that produced B.C (B.C.E) / A.D?

Time will tell ….
